I spent over a year testing various rackets before finishing this design. I play padel hours every weekend, and all ready-made rackets I tried brought obvious discomfort: stiff hits, unstable swings, sore wrists after short play. I built this one to fix those small annoyances I kept running into on court.
Its carbon shell is plain solid sheet, matched with a rounded head I preferred after repeated tests. Off-balance shots feel much smoother this way. The holes on the surface were revised many times; earlier designs either slowed swings or felt fragile, and this layout works well for outdoor play in all weather.
Ordinary EVA foam fills the frame. It softens sharp hitting impact, easing the forearm soreness I used to get from thin-core rackets. The hollow triangular throat prevents cracking after frequent hard strikes, a detail I learned after breaking several prototypes. The grip tape absorbs sweat normally, with a simple nylon wrist strap to avoid slipping.
The full length is 455mm, frame thickness 38mm, weight 360-380g with even balance, fitting serving and net ball control equally well.
