Racket size
According to USAPA regulations, the total length and width of a Pick racket (including any edge guards and stock caps) shall not exceed 24 inches (60.96 centimeters), and the racket length shall not exceed 17 inches (43.18 centimeters). This means that if the racket is 16 inches long, the maximum width is 8 inches, while if the racket is 17 inches long, it can only be 7 inches wide to remain within the allowed total range of 24 inches.
The size of the racket can seriously affect its performance. The longer the racket, the more difficult it is to hit the ball. The wider the racket, the more likely you are to hit it, and the stronger your maneuverability. The size of the racket also affects the size of the 'best point', which is the area in the center of the racket where players can get the most accurate response from their hits.
Racket weight
Pickle rackets, like boxers, can be classified into heavyweight categories. These three categories are:
Lightweight - less than 7.2 ounces
Medium weight -7.3 to 8.4 ounces
Heavyweight -8.5 ounces and above
Pickle rackets of different weights have different advantages. The lightweight racket is perfect for providing you with ultimate maneuverability and fast response time. Very suitable for playing ping pong and shooting, if you switch from playing table tennis to kimchi ball, a lightweight option may be suitable for you. The disadvantage is that you cannot generate as much force in hitting the ball, and lighter rackets can cause more vibration in your arms and elbows, which may lead to or exacerbate injuries.
A medium weight racket is a joyful medium for balancing strength and control. Most intermediate players would choose this racket weight because they are the best all-around athletes.
The range of heavyweight rackets is from 8.5 ounces to 14 ounces. The heavier the racket, the greater the force behind the ball. In addition, using a heavier Pick racket requires less effort in the swing to achieve a solid hit. The disadvantage of a heavier racket is that it provides you with lower control and maneuverability.
Racket material
The construction of the Pick tennis racket uses three materials - wood, carbon fiber, and composite materials. Wooden rackets are the heaviest and usually the cheapest. They are suitable for beginners or occasional players. The carbon fiber pickle racket is very sturdy, but also very light. They are the most expensive choice, but the most popular among serious players because they offer unparalleled action and durability.
In terms of price and performance, composite rackets are a satisfactory medium. They are becoming increasingly popular because their textured surfaces are easier to rotate on the ball. Composite material pickle rackets are made from a mixture of various materials, but almost always use carbon fiber or glass fiber surfaces and polymer cores.
